| Purpose |
Work one-on-one or with a group of elementary and/or junior/senior high students with homework. Reinforcing skills being learned by the students |
| Responsibilities |
- Help students finish homework, review for tests, assist with projects. Students may need help with math, spelling, reading, grammar, social studies, etc.
- Read a book with a student and read silently along with students. When the chapter or book is finished, ask questions about what was read.
- Brainstorm for writing assignments

- Comfortable and patient with children
- Creative
- Ability to help students without doing their homework
- Ability to work independantly or as a team member

| Amount of Time Required |
From 1 to 2 hours per week for a minimum of 14 hours, during the school year |
| When Service is Performed |
Monday through Thursday scheduled as needed by the students, between 3:30-5:30p.m. |
